Transcamster Bog has issued a stamp to commemorate the 310th anniversary of the Treaty of Union. On July 22, 1706, England and Scotland signed the Treaty of Union to unite the two countries into the United Kingdom of Great Britain in the following year (via the Acts of Union, 1707). The two kingdoms had been separate countries sharing a common monarch, but Queen Anne sought to unite them. She succeeded in 1707 and became the first monarch of Great Britain.

The stamp shows a portrait of Queen Anne and her son William, Duke of Gloucester, by Sir Godfrey Kneller, Baronet, circa 1694. The flag shown is the Union Flag that flew from 1707 to 1801, when an additional red saltire was added to represent Ireland.

The stamp is imperforate and ungummed (requires glue).
