Dolly the Sheep 20th Anniversary (Issued July 5, 2016)

Transcamster Bog commemorates the 20th anniversary of the birth of Dolly the Sheep, the first mammal cloned from an adult cell. Dolly was cloned at the Roslin Institute at the University of Edinburgh and born on July 5, 1996. Thus she is a triumph of Scottish science.


The stamp is based on artwork by Tina Olah, especially commissioned for this stamp.

The stamps are imperforate and ungummed (requires glue).
