Although the wedding occurred on May 19, 2018, the stamp was issued four months later (Issuing a stamp after the wedding is not unprecedented. Canada issued its stamp to commemorate the wedding of then-Princess Elizabeth to Prince Philip Mountbatten on February 16, 1948, almost three months after the wedding occurred on November 20, 1947).
The stamp shows a photo from the British Monarchy's Twitter account.
