Queen Elizabeth II In Memoriam CORRECTED DESIGN (issued on November 7, 2022)

A collector noticed that the Queen Elizabeth II In Memoriam stamp of November 4, 2022, had a design error: the year of the Queen's death is shown as "1922" instead of "2022:, Transcamster Bog local post rushed a corrected version into production. The new stamp shows the correct year of "2022" and was issued on November 7, 2022. Since philatelists would consider it a different design, not a variety, it has a designated first day of issue and a first day cover.

Transcamster Bog local post has issued this stamp to honour the late Queen Elizabeth II. The stamp shows a photo of the Queen that the Royal Family tweeted on the day she died.

After the stamp was issued, a collector noticed that the year of the Queen's death is incorrect, shown as "1922" instead of "2022". A revised version was quickly produced and issued on November 7, 2022. The design error version was not withdrawn and remains on sale.

Bahamas Visit 2022 postal card (Issued on July 14, 2022)

This postal card is Transcamster Bog's second postal stationery item. It was issued to commemorate the Laird's visit to the Bahamas on the so-called maiden voyage of the cruise ship Disney Wish in 2022 (Although the cruise was billed as a maiden voyage, there had already been a crew-only voyage and a VIP's and tourism industry cruise earlier). 

The picture side of the card depicts the ship Disney Wish at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, where she was built.

Cards with first day of issue cancels also have the Transcamster Bog paquebot marking because the cards were carried aboard the ship.

Transcamster Bog issued its first postal stationery item, a postal card, to commemorate CAPEX 22, the international stamp show in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The picture side of the postal card and the local post indicium show a photo of Toronto Harbour, photographed by the Laird of Transcamster Bog.

Transcamster Bog issued this stamp to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee (70th anniversary of the start of her reign). The stamp shows a portrait of the Queen used on cards sent by Royal staff for her 90th birthday in 2016.

The stamp is issued imperforate and ungummed (requires glue).

Thirty years ago, I purchased the two plots of land that would later be named Transcamster Bog. This stamp commemorates the beginning of Transcamster Bog and is its first diamond-shaped stamp.
